SCHEDULE, SHIFTS, AND WAGE:

• SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday
• HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Any required OT would be until 3:30 PM)
• WAGES: $21.00 - $27.73 per hour
• BREAKS: - Lunch, and two PAID 15 minute

Responsibilities:

• Use MIG welding experience and familiarity with Carbon Steel to cut and join metals with precision from technical drawings and verbal instruction.

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Charge forklift batteries as needed; participate in physical inventories; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed;
• Repair pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, truck bays, and warehouse as requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Generally clean, well-lit environment.
• Some moderate to heavy lifting (weights can exceed 60#, and can require overhead work).
• Some pushing, pulling, bending, & stooping.
• Prolonged standing.

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Must have knowledge of MIG welding processes.
• Familiar with Carbon Steel.
• Passing the Weld test is required.
• Passing Physical is required.
• Knowledge of working with welding tools and equipment.
• Skilled in operating power and hand tools.
• Able to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
• Able to read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift in excess of fifty pounds.
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective PPE (Eye Protection, face-shield, gloves, Helmet, Ear protection-optional, etc.).
