Evening Shift Incentive: Extra $4.00 per hour

Employment Status: Direct Hire: Full-time status starting on day one.

Schedule: Enjoy a 4-day work week across all shifts.

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, (5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, (3:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m.)-(Includes $4.00 per hour shift premium)

Your Impact:

As a MIG Welder, you will play a vital role in fabricating, joining, and repairing steel components for large industrial assemblies. You will contribute to a high-output manufacturing environment by producing structurally sound, top-tier welds. Your daily tasks involve interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, configuring equipment, and occasionally supporting robotic welding operations, all while maintaining a focus on precision and safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or equivalent education
• Expertise in using precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Help the team maintain accuracy by correctly interpreting welding symbols and blueprints
• Proficiency in the setup and operation of MIG welding machinery
• Support site logistics by operating overhead cranes and forklifts (certifications are a plus)
• Maintain high quality standards through meticulous attention to detail
• Successfully earn and retain your MIG welding certification
• Contribute to team success by communicating clearly in English and solving basic technical problems

Additional Skills:

• Vocational or apprenticeship background in fabrication or welding
• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Familiarity with standard manufacturing safety protocols

Education and Experience Preferences:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous training in MIG welding or fabrication
• Background working in industrial manufacturing settings

Physical and Operational Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and handle materials consistently throughout your shift
• Capacity to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly while working in an industrial setting with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Provide your own steel-toe boots and welding hood for the interview and weld assessment

This role is based in an industrial metal-fabrication facility where you may encounter the following conditions:

• Exposure to loud machinery, vibrations, and welding equipment
• Proximity to electrical hazards and moving mechanical parts
• High heat, hot metal, and sparks
• Welding fumes, dust, gases, mists, odors, and areas with limited airflow
• Contact with cutting fluids, oils, chemicals, and other airborne substances
