Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specs to plan layout and welding operations.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before assembly.
• Select tooling and fixtures; plan steps for duties.
• Interpret weld symbols and assemble metal parts.
• Prepare surfaces and operate welding equipment safely.
• Move materials with hoists/cranes and inspect finished work.
