Job summary

Steel Craft is seeking a Manual Welder to fabricate metal components in a steel fabrication environment. The role requires reading blueprints and welding symbols, welding carbon steel and aluminum, and performing related tasks with attention to quality and safety.

You will set up welding equipment, inspect welds, fix defects, and log job information into the ERP system. Collaboration with welders, fabricators, and QA is essential to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in production manual welding.
• Must have training in lifting device use (forklift, crane, jibs, hoist, magnets).
• Knowledge of GMAW and ability to read welding symbols and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel, aluminum, and other metals per specifications.
• Perform stud welding and metal finishing as needed.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols to determine requirements.
