Job Description

As a Welder, you will collaborate with floor supervisors, quality control, and shop supervisors to ensure all work is properly fit-up and welded according to job specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Operate various equipment (saw, shear, rollers, etc.) following safe work practices.
• Inspect work pieces for defects and measure to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Weld using aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, or other alloys, either separately or in combination.
• Perform clamping, holding, tack welding, heat straightening, plasma cutting, and grinding to achieve desired configurations and positions.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in a welding/fabrication environment.
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including knowledge of weld symbols.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure (standard and metric).
