Job summary

Cannonball Recruiting LLC in Ashland, VA is seeking a Welder/Fitter for 1st shift. Pay is $19-24/hr with 6am to 4:30pm hours and overtime on Saturdays as needed. You will fabricate components from shop drawings using flux core arc welding, ensuring welds meet AWS standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass Full Penetration Vertical weld test.
• Must pass Fillet Overhead weld test.
• Able to read and fabricate from shop drawings.

• Willing to work 10-hour days with Saturday OT.

• Flux core arc welding experience to standards AWS D1.1/14.1.

Job description

Welder/Fitter - 1st Shift job at Cannonball Recruiting LLC. Ashland, VA.

Pay: $19-24/hr.

1st Shift: 6am to 4:30pm (Mon to Fri); Saturday OT as required

Summary: Fabricate components off of shop drawings. Provide high quality Flux Core Arc welds in an efficient manner.

Requirements & Duties:

• Ability to pass a Full Penetration Vertical weld test as well as a Fillet Overhead weld test
• Consistently produce high quality flux core arc welds that meet or exceed AWS D1.1 and 14.1 standards
• Ability to read and fabricate off of shop drawings
• Ability to read AWS weld symbols
• Ability to work safely in a Heavy Industrial work environment
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to work 10 hour days and OT on Saturday as required
