Metal Fabricator and MIG Welder

PrideStaff in Southfield, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator and MIG Welder.

Shift: First shift, Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturdays from 6 am to noon.

Responsibilities:

1. Willingness to work overtime as needed and as production requires.
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measure, cut, and shape metal.
3. Perform continuous MIG welding and fabrication tasks.
4. Repair metal surfaces to ensure safety and efficiency.
5. Maintain shop, tools, and machinery in good working order.
6. Use and maintain basic tools; training available on hydraulics and air systems, with prior knowledge of trailer air systems and hydraulics a plus.

Hiring Requirements:

• Must have basic tools.
• Pass a welding test.

Compensation and Hours:

Pay: $20 - $24 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 after 6 months

Hours per week: 50-56
