Job position: Welder

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: WEEKLY PAY

Payrate: $25.00 per hour

Description of work:

• Welders are focused on the repair of small to large sized steel waste containers (MIG welding).
• Welders use smart devices to monitor progress through maintenance tracking technology.
• Shifts are typically between 8-10 hours.
• Required work hours are determined based on local legal limits and work hours may vary by site and daily workload.
• There will be out-of-town projects that may be required in two-week intervals. It would be a limited requirement.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

• Complete welding repair of metal containers, repairs include replacing damaged walls, rusted floors, or other broken or cracked metal structures.
• Assist with preparation of containers for welding, painting, and delivery.
• Assist lead fabricator when necessary.
• Torch burning and plasma cutting.
• Operate forklifts.

Qualifications:

• Welding certifications are not required.
• MUST have 2 years experience in MIG Welding.
• Must have own welding hood, 2-4 lb. hammer, tape measure, wire cutters, and screwdriver.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High school diploma needed.
