DeWitts Radiator is seeking a highly motivated and experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. Job responsibilities, skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to those outlined below:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to TIG weld aluminum
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
• Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
• Follow all company rules and policies
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards
• Ability to identify and measure material
• Ability to produce quality products consistently
• Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic

Minimum Requirements

• Recognize and acknowledge the high moral quality and goodwill of the Company
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school, or six months+ related experience
• Strong trouble shooting skills to find root cause of issues and think logically about solutions; mechanical skills to read blueprints and to use a variety of tools and equipment. Welders must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail.
• Must successfully pass our extensive welding test.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
