Job summary

Veritas Steel LLC in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Welder to join our production team on the 2nd shift (430PM–250AM Mon–Thurs). This role performs FCAW welding on structural steel and contributes to fabricating bridge girder components, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Starting pay ranges from $27.07 to $32.22 per hour, plus weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, retirement plans, PTO starting after first month, 10 paid holidays, uniforms, boot allowance, and PPE.

Qualifications

• 1+ year welding experience; FCWA required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety culture and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality FCAW welding on structural steel.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for assigned tasks.
• Weld in multiple positions: flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead.
• Fabricate, drill, grind, and assemble bridge girder components per specs.
• Perform FCAW welding and other assembly operations to meet production standards.
• Use tools, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit.
