Job summary

Veritas Steel is hiring a Welder to support the production of bridge girder components. The role blends welding, fabricating, and assembly, requiring precision and the ability to meet high production demands while maintaining safety standards.

The position is on the 2nd shift (4:30 PM–2:50 AM, Mon–Thu). Starting pay is $27.07–$32.22 per hour with weekly pay and a strong benefits package including life and disability insurance, medical/dental/vision, retirement plans, paid holidays, and PPE.

• 1+ years welding experience; FCWA required
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality FCAW welding processes on structural steel.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment as required for specific tasks.
• Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead
• Fabricate, drill, grind, and assemble bridge girder components per project specifications.
• Perform FCAW welding and other assembly operations to meet production standards.
• Utilize tools, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit of materials

Welder starting pay is $27.07-$32.22.05 based on shift. Weekly Pay!

2nd Shift: 430PM-250AM Mon-Thurs

Double time after 50 hours worked in a week!

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 75lbs occasionally


• Must be able to push /move objects up to 100 lbs. of force


• Necessary to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and work at heights


• Must have a good range of motion when reaching forward, shoulder to overhead, and bending

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions


• May be required to climb heights for work


• Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, Heights & other possible hazardous conditions


• Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operations
