GTI specializes in design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based solutions, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets, with all solutions built in-house at our Buffalo, NY facility. Our manufacturing capabilities range from military training enclosures, live fire ranges, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment systems, and energy storage enclosures.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our 2nd shift team (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). This position involves precision welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and material assembly to build high-quality structures according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications
Must have proven experience as a welder/fabricator
Experience with multiple welding processes (TIG, MIG, Stick, etc.)
Welders must have the ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, saws, calipers, and measuring devices
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety standards
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Qualifications
Welders will ideally have their AWS Certification (American Welding Society) – GMAW process, 3G Vertical Up & 4F Overhead
1+ year experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication
Knowledge of torch and plasma cutting equipment
Experience with GTAW welding and tolerance systems
