Join our Team at Grounded as our first Full-time Welder!

As Grounded's first full-time Welder, you will utilize your knowledge, experience, craftsmanship, and creativity to fabricate custom-designed components for our customers, as well as for commercial fleets including mobile medical vehicles, dental vehicles, and more. You will pioneer new designs and manufacturing techniques to push the envelope of RV construction and aesthetics. You will stand up Grounded's weld shop from scratch, including setting safety standards, tooling, and equipment.

Starting Hourly Rate

From $20 to $24 hourly

Responsibilities
  1. Lead fabrication of new designs and assemblies for Grounded's electric vehicle portfolio.
  2. Design and organize the shop floor for fabricating custom cabinetry and modules.
  3. Provide design feedback and advice to engineering and design teams. Implement new ideas to improve modular components.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of welding experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with TIG/MIG welding, welding aluminum and steel.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Basic metal fabricating skills.

Additional Notes
