Join Our Team as a Full-Time Welder at Grounded

Grounded, an innovative Detroit-based startup founded by ex-SpaceX engineers, is seeking its first full-time Welder. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge, experience, craftsmanship, and creativity to fabricate custom-designed components for our electric vehicle projects, including mobile medical and dental vehicles. You will also be responsible for pioneering new designs and manufacturing techniques to advance RV construction and aesthetics. Additionally, you will establish our weld shop from scratch, including setting safety standards, tooling, and equipment.

Starting Hourly Rate: $20 to $24

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of welding experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding, with experience welding aluminum and steel.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Basic metal fabrication skills.
