Job description

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full-time Welder Fabricator team member to join our fire fab division at our facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of others, produce life safety systems
• Crane and Forklift operations
• Mig hand welding repair
• Quality assurance
• Organization of products and materials
• Regular maintenance of welding station upkeep
• Work within a multitask setting while still meeting deadlines
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Regularly lift up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 50lbs
• Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift
• Knowledge of pipe and fittings is a plus
• While industry experience is encouraged, it is not required in order to be successful in this role
• Willing to train

Work Setting

Charlotte, North Carolina

Monday - Friday, 7AM-4PM

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
