Koch Finishing Systems is a local custom engineering and fabrication company serving Aerospace and Automotive industries. We are seeking an experienced welder to join our team. This position involves welding and fabricating metal structures and various custom assemblies according to engineered fabrication drawings.

Schedule: Day Shift 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: $22+

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Calculate measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Assemble and weld structures and sub-assemblies; responsible for filing, burring, and welding
• Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, form, punch, and drill components
• Use experience and judgment to plan work, maximize material use, and meet schedules
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve quality and quantity standards according to customer needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Operate all equipment safely (hoist, crane, forklift, etc.)
• Operate and maintain MIG welder independently

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience or technical training as a structural welder, capable of joining, fabricating, and welding metal tubes and pipes
