Job summary

Brunswick in Boston is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to support fabrication and welding activities. The role requires reading drawings and specs, MIG and TIG experience, and the ability to lift heavy parts. A high school diploma and welding certification are required; candidates must obtain certification if not already certified after 90 days.

OT and weekend work may be needed. We value safe work practices, 5S/Kaizen familiarity, and the ability to work as part of a team while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Welding Certification from accredited program.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS preferred.
• Must be able to lift heavy parts and operate heavy equipment.
• Willingness to obtain additional certification within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components per drawings/specifications.
• Support production with welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality on shop floor.
• Use all fabrication and welding tools as required.
• Be willing to OT and work weekends if needed.
