Job summary

Brunswick is hiring a Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team. The role requires MIG/TIG welding, reading drawings, and adherence to safety standards in a dynamic production environment.

Candidates must have HS diploma or welding cert, and fit-test certification or be willing to obtain it within 3 months. OT and weekend work may be required to support production.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or welding certification.
• Respiratory Fit Test certification or obtain within three months of hire.
• Basic computer, math, reading and measurement proficiency.
• Read drawings and specifications; knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS preferred.
• Able to follow established safety procedures; detail-oriented and organized.
• Self-starter and team player with good safety awareness.
• MIG and TIG experience.
• Use all fabrication and welding tools.
• Ability to perform other duties as required.
• Lift more than 50 lbs.
• Operate forklift and other heavy equipment.

Candidate must either be certified or willing to get certified after 90-day probationary period and able to pass BW weld test. Candidate must be able to have flexible schedule and willing to work OT and weekends if needed and the support production as needed. Candidate must be willing to participate in continual self-improvement and improving overall job knowledge.

POSITION: WELDER / FABRICATOR

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent Welding Certification from accredited college.
• Respiratory Fit Test Certification, or obtain within three (3) months of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 30 lbs up to 60% of shift and 50 lbs up to 30% of shift; push/pull up to 30 lbs
• Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
