Job summary

EngineerIT in New Albany, Indiana is seeking a skilled welder/fitter to assemble conveyors and material handling equipment, reading and applying blueprints to fabrication tasks.

You will use fabrication tools as needed and work on the 1st shift Monday through Friday in a clean, organized facility with competitive internal benefits and a growing company.

Candidates should have 2+ years welding or fitting experience or relevant schooling/certifications and the ability to interpret drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding or fitting experience or related schooling/certifications.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Mathematical & mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fitting conveyors and material handling equipment per blueprints.
• Work directly from blueprints to shape and assemble components.
• Use various fabrication tools as needed.
