Job summary

Skillforce is seeking experienced Welders Fabricators for a fabrication shop in New Albany, IN. This contract-to-hire role offers steady hours and the potential to become a permanent team member.

You will read blueprints, fabricate and weld metal components, set up and safely operate equipment, and perform MIG, TIG, and STICK processes. Calibrating and inspecting finished work to meet quality standards is required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Welding/metal fabrication experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
