Job summary

AFL is seeking a MIG Welder to work at our Hidden Lake Facility in Duncan, SC. This position involves welding aluminum primarily and requires a minimum of two years of MIG welding experience.

The role is for the weekend night shift (Friday-Sunday, 5:00pm-5:00am), where the welder will be responsible for ensuring proper material is used before welding and following specific weld instructions.

The MIG Welder position will be located at our Hidden Lake Facility here in Duncan, SC.

Responsibilities

• Weekend Night Shift welder position (Friday-Sunday 5:00pm-5:00am)


• Weld materials are primarily aluminum


• Typical operations include welding aluminum tubing to pads using turntable, back plates and knobs to brackets, hooks to square tubing, pads to extrusions, etc…


• Weld operator is responsible for all equipment set ups and to perform a proper weld on each part / component.


• Responsible to complete each discrete jobs by verifying proper material from staged area before welding.


• Follow weld instructions/requirements from discrete job, access drawings from computer system to verify special requirements.


• Move/deliver product to next operation.
