AFL in Duncan, SC is seeking a MIG Welder to join their team. This position offers 2nd shift hours (3:45 pm - 2:15 am) and involves primarily aluminum welding.

The MIG Welder position will be located at our Hidden Lake Facility here in Duncan, SC.

Responsibilities

• 2nd Shift Welder: 3:45 pm - 2:15 am
• Weld materials are primarily aluminum
• Typical operations include welding aluminum tubing to pads using turntable, back plates and knobs to brackets, hooks to square tubing, pads to extrusions, etc…
• Weld operator is responsible for all equipment set ups and to perform a proper weld on each part / component.
• Responsible to complete each discrete jobs by verifying proper material from staged area before welding.
• Follow weld instructions/requirements from discrete job, access drawings from computer system to verify special requirements.
• Move/deliver product to next operation.
