Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Welder, 3rd. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The rate for this position is $24.46 per hour plus a $.50 per hour shift differential. Please note, training for new employees is on 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm for approximately four weeks. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations.

What You’ll Do

As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols. You will also participate in quality inspections and work in a cross-functional team of welders.

Qualifications

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service members are exempt from this geographical limitation).
• Previous Welding Experience or a Welding Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing Experience.
