Job Description

Welder I Fitter I Fabricator

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Welder I Fitter I Fabricator specializing in the Aerospace, Automotive, and Prototype Sheet Metal industries.

Shift Times:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (8-hour days) and 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10-hour days). Must be open to working until 4:30 PM when needed. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
  • 2nd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM – 2:30 AM. Varies between 8 and 10-hour shifts. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
  • 3rd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM to 5:30 AM – 7:30 AM. Varies between 8 and 10-hour shifts. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Experience in welding, fitting, and/or fabricating
  • Proficiency in TIG, MIG, Flux Core, and Stick welding
  • Materials welded include Aluminum, Invar, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Galvanized Steel, Sheet Metal, Titanium, Kirksite, and more
  • Experience welding fixtures, bond tools, platforms, railings, and tooling
  • Industries: Aerospace, Automotive, and Prototype Sheet Metal
  • Machining experience with Bridgeport, Lathe, Drill Press, Break Press, Grinders, etc.
  • Ability to work from weld symbols, blueprints, diagrams
  • Welding equipment: Lincoln Electric and Miller

Compensation Range:

  • Hourly: $30.00 to $45.00
  • Overtime: Time and a Half after 40 hours; Double Time on Sundays
