Job summary

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Chilton, Wisconsin, seeks skilled welders to join our team. You will perform MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel, including robotic welding, and work toward customer drawings and specifications in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include inspection, certification, documentation, equipment maintenance, and finishing with grinding tools. Positive team player with attention to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, including weld requirements.
• Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and other materials as needed.
• Working knowledge of fixture and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Weld using various techniques including robotic welding.
• Use conventional and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform finish grinding with manual/power tools.

Position

Welders are responsible for various types of weld preparation, Mig welding on stainless steel and carbon steel and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction along with Robotic Welding experience.

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques including robotic welding experience.
• Conventional and precision measuring instruments.
