Job summary

D&H Industries is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift. You will weld with MIG, robotic welders and spot/resistance welders and read blueprints to follow engineered specifications.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., 10-hour shifts, with a $3.00/hour shift premium. We pay weekly and offer an on-site clinic, tuition reimbursement, annual raises, paid breaks, and opportunities to contribute ideas.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of relevant welding/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills; ability to read measurements in metric and standard.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/drawings and job routing; determine appropriate welding equipment or method.
• Set up components for welding per specifications.
• Weld components using MIG, robotic welders and spot/resistance welders to required sheet specifications.
• Produce complex welded assemblies to close tolerances; ensure quality results.
• Inspect weldments for defects such as spatter, rough welds, missing welds and sharp edges; verify weld length and size.
• Perform metal finishing like grinding to remove defects and meet quality standards.
• May work in other areas of the production floor to meet deadlines.
