Johnson Controls in Waynesboro is seeking a skilled TIG welder to join our growing HVAC systems team. You’ll perform TIG welding on carbon, galvanized, and stainless steel while ensuring precise layouts, cuts, and fittings to meet drawings. This role offers opportunities to grow your skills in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has proven TIG and pipe welding experience, with a high school diploma or GED. A welding training program completion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on carbon, galvanized, and stainless steel.
• Weld, layout, cut, and fit parts to meeting drawing tolerances.

• Regulate current, voltage, and select proper tips, rods, and sizes for each job.
• Assemble complex standard products, including tubing layout and pipe bending.
• Clean equipment using hand or power tools after welding.
