Level One welders work under direct supervision to weld small assemblies in a limited number of weld types and positions, performing mostly corner welds. Level one welders are certified to 3G as well as to internal certifications. Level one welders perform basic welding operations using TIG (GTAW), mostly on stainless steel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Basic TIG welding operations, e.g., corner welds

Required Skills:

• Basic print reading
• Basic shop math

Required Experience:

• 0-1 year of experience

Level of Education:

• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required
