Job summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. is hiring for a production welder on first shift. You will perform MIG wire-feed welding and receive training, including AMSE code pressure vessel work.

The role involves repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety and quality standards. We offer a $1000 sign-on and referral bonus, health and dental plans, 401k with company match, paid holidays and vacation from day one, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Welding experience, MIG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot weld quality and perform adjustments.
• Be ready for training and certification as required.
• Move materials up to 50 lbs as part of workflow.

Job Description

• We manufacture air compressors. Will perform wire feed welding, for which you will be certified/trained, including AMSE code pressure vessels.
• Production type welding using wire feed arc welders.
• Repetitive lifting of materials and product throughout the process up to 50 lbs.
• Troubleshoot weld problem and make adjustments to correct problem.
• We will train!
• Know and understand blueprints, learn how to identify welding defects and use weld gauges.
• Safety conscious, quality minded, good work habits and attendance.
