Job summary

MIRATECH Corporation in Prior Lake, MN is seeking a skilled MIG welder to join the 1st shift. You will perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, and fabrication of metal components, coordinating with welding, fabrication, and shipping teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, deburring surfaces, and maintaining safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Certification in welding from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to use welding equipment and related tools effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with a team lift.

Pay Range: $23/hr+ depending on experience
