Job summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking skilled welders to perform wire feed welding operations, including AMSE code pressure vessel training. You will work with MIG welding, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on each part.

Training will be provided to certify and advance your skills. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with potential to reach $24.50 per hour as you advance through welding certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; training provided.
• Welding experience in MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and identify welding defects.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire feed welding equipment to weld parts.
• Troubleshoot weld issues and adjust welding parameters.
• Read and interpret blueprints; ensure weld quality and dimensions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow company safety policies.

Job Description

• We manufacture air compressors. Will perform wire feed welding positions, for which they are certified/trained, including AMSE code pressure vessels.
• Production type welding using wire feed arc welders.
• Repetitive lifting of materials and product throughout the process up to 50 lbs.
• Troubleshoot weld problem and make adjustments to correct problem.
• We will train!
• Know and understand blueprints, learn how to identify welding defects and use weld gauges.
• Safety conscious, quality minded, good work habits and attendance.

Compensation: Welders start at $19.50 per hour and can earn up to $24.50 per hour through welding certification advancement.
