Qualifications

Experience reading shop drawings and blueprints for construction of steel structures.
Proficient with cutting torches and welding machines.
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
Knowledge of AISC quality standards is a plus.
Safety certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into pre-defined structures according to blueprints.
Interpret shop drawings for construction of all types of structures.
Operate cutting torches and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Work independently or as part of a team; maintain quality and productivity.
Stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs as needed.

Job description

Fabricator/Welder will use various techniques to cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into pre-defined structures according to blueprints, must be proficient in interpreting shop Drawings for Construction of all types of structures. Utilizing tools like cutting torches, welding machines, and other metalworking equipment to create the necessary components and assemble them into the final structure, requiring strong mechanical skills, above average knowledge of welding techniques. Ability to work alone and with team members. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Lift or carry at least 50lbs

Knowledge of AISC quality standards, Safety certifications, Forklift certifications a Plus but not required.
