Job summary

FNA Group in Arkansas is seeking an experienced Welder to join our production team. The Welder will assemble and weld metal components, fabricate parts, and support facility operations on the first shift.

Candidates should have 2+ years welding experience, preferably with steel, and be capable of blueprint reading. High school diploma preferred. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with steel materials.
• Blueprint reading is a plus.
• Strong math skills are a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new or replacement parts for production and assemble component parts using hand and small power tools.
• Prepare welding equipment for operation by adjusting settings and assisting with changeovers.
• Maintain quality standards by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation by following procedures and seeking supervisor guidance when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team! The Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components for production and facility operation.

Job Description:

• First Shift schedule is 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday
• Prepares welding equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments; assisting with equipment changeovers.
• Fabricate new or replacement parts for production and assemble component parts using hand and small power tools.
• Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection and making equipment adjustments.
• Ensures accurate machine operation by making equipment adjustments; referring questions to the supervisor.
• Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Other responsibilities to be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work overtime when needed
• 2+ years previous experience as a Welder - preferred, not required
• Experience working with steel materials
• Blueprint reading (a plus, but not required)
• Strong math skills (a plus, but not required)
• Forklift experience (a plus, but not required)

Education/Certification:
