Responsibilities

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor and clamp as needed.
• Weld on production line to assemble refuse trucks.
• Lay out, position, and tack weld parts.
• Weld beads in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Connect regulators and operate cutting torch; adjust gas flow and pressure.
• Inspect welds for bead size and specifications; grind excess welds.

## Welder 1Apply: Winamac, IN: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R-101439**Job Description:**Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Welder to support our Winamac, IN manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be a MIG Welder with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.**Pay: $23.41 Shift: First****Responsibilities*** Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks* Working in a production line, Welding Refuse trucks assembly* Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces* Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines* Connects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch. Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame.
