OneSubsea TIG Welders - Orbital and Manual
Located in Mobile, Alabama, OneSubsea is seeking to add several TIG Welders - Orbital and Manual to their team. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Mobile, Alabama, and be flexible to work day/night shifts.

Job Summary
- Builds welding programs (Orbital & Manual) with minimal engineering oversight.
- Reviews engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations where procedural information is unavailable.
- Assembles and installs parts on products according to production instructions, procedures, and drawings. Tasks include bending tubes, prepping ends for termination, handling electrical cables, torque/tension fasteners, mixing potting material, etc.
- Records traceability information during work activities.
- Creates templates and work aids for holding and aligning parts.
- Determines the type of welding to be used, applying knowledge of metals, contours, angles, and stress tolerances.
- Inspects assembly aspects such as grooves, angles, and gaps to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.
- Adjusts welding inputs based on changes to tube/material preparation.
- Performs troubleshooting and work requiring knowledge of welding properties, stress relief, allowances, and the effects of shrinkage and warpage.
- Maintains and performs certified orbital and manual OSS welding procedures inspected per quality standards.
- Assembles medium complexity components like umbilical terminations and distribution equipment.
- Follows standards of Lean Manufacturing, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of TIG welding experience, manual/hand or orbital, on Stainless or Non-Ferrous Materials.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree in welding (or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience in similar roles preferred.
