Job Title: Welder

Structural Welder | FCAW | Structural Steel

Were hiring experienced welders to work on large structural steel projects including tanks, bridges, and pressure vessels in a busy industrial fabrication shop.

What Youll Be Doing:

• FCAW welding using 1/16 wire
• Welding heavy structural steel
• Working to AWS/D1 welding standards
• Air arc back gouging
• Reading drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
• Grinding, prepping, and finishing welds
• Inspecting your work and correcting weld defects as needed

What Were Looking For:

• Structural or heavy fabrication welding experience
• Strong FCAW/Flux Core welding skills
• Air arc back gouging experience
• Experience with AWS/D1 standards
• Experience welding tanks, bridges, pressure vessels, or similar heavy structures is a major plus
• Comfortable working in a hot, dusty, open-air fabrication shop
• Reliable and willing to work overtime

Schedule:

Typically 6:00 AM4:30 PM

Hours:

Approximately 4856 hours per week depending on workload, with 812 hour shifts

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
