Job summary

E&E Manufacturing Co in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Weld Tech for 2nd shift. This full-time role supports welding operations, aims for zero downtime, and relies on clear teamwork.

You will set up robotic and resistance weld operations, provide weld support to operators, and assist in analyzing equipment failures. Robot programming and controls knowledge (Fanuc, Panasonic, Allen-Bradley) is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years as a weld technician in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• 2 year certificate in an electronic/electrician or robotic weld technical program or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in developing and improving welding processes.
• Set up of robotic and resistance weld operations, and Poke-yoke apparatus.
• Provide general weld support to operators.
• Knowledge of robot programming and general welding maintenance (Fanuc, Panasonic).
• Controls knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, SLC 500 and SLC 5000 family of controls and HMI).
• Provide support in the analysis and resolution of weld equipment failures.

Role Description:

A Weld Technician will be working within and supporting a team environment using good communication and interpersonal skills, while constantly striving to maintain a goal of zero downtime.
