Job summary

Plymouth Tube is seeking a Weld Mill Operator for the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM) in our Production department. You will operate welded tube mills, set up equipment, and support safety, quality and output goals.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, ability to read measurements and follow standard work instructions. Candidates must be trainable and committed to teamwork and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Must be trainable with comprehension of equipment and processes.
• Strong mechanical skills and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Support plant safety initiatives and maintain housekeeping while pursuing continuous process improvement.
• Operate weld mills and assist in setups to meet quality and output targets.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, work instructions and manufacturing processes daily.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as directed.
• Participate in kaizen events to improve operating performance.
• Operate cranes when required and assist with material handling.
