Responsibilities

• Set up and operate steel tube reduction equipment to reduce OD/ID/wall (drawbenches and pointers).
• Review mill orders for optimum processing.
• Report processing changes to department lead.
• Determine tooling and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Ensure proper alkaline cleaning of product and plug blowing.
• Hazardous waste management.
• Operate computer terminal, forklift, and cranes as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping and perform basic maintenance.
• Participate in problem-solving and kaizen events.
