Job summary

Aerotek in Seguin, TX is seeking a Weld Enclosure General Laborer for a 3rd shift role (10 PM–8 AM, Sun–Thu). Job Title: Weld Enclosure General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Weld Enclosure General Laborers to join our team. As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining traceability of components, adhering to safety regulations, and efficiently managing materials within our manufacturing environment.

Main responsibilities in this role are using hand and power tools and hand grinders to fabricate supports for large industrial generator boxes.

Position is 3rd shift working 10p-8a Sunday to Thursday with additional OT offered on Thursday nights

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret tags to maintain traceability of components.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times in the shop.
• Operate only the equipment for which formal training has been received.
• Follow all safety regulations and policies while using grinders, sanders, and hand tools.
• Move materials from the welding area to the paint department using a pallet and pallet jack.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in a production setting.
• Proficiency in using grinders and other related tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication concepts and processes.
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Physical ability to regularly lift and move various weights up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seguin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
