Avenue at Broadview Heights is seeking an Admissions/Intake Coordinator to warmly welcome new residents and their families, coordinate pre-admission data, and support census and marketing efforts. This role emphasizes organization, empathy, and teamwork in a post-hospital rehab and skilled nursing setting.

The position collaborates with nursing and administration to ensure smooth admissions, proper documentation, and respectful communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recent college graduate.
• Experience in admissions or healthcare preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Professional, empathetic, and team-oriented.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-admission data and resident assessments.
• Support marketing and census growth with referral outreach.
• Conduct interviews and verify resident information.
• Collaborate with nursing and administration for room assignments.
• Escort and welcome new residents.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records.
• Assist with admission paperwork and policy communication.
• Partner with the Director of Business Development on marketing initiatives.
