Job summary

Villatel Resort Orlando is seeking Welcome Gate Ambassadors to serve as the first point of contact for guests, vendors, and visitors at the gate. You will verify registrations, provide directions, and ensure secure access while delivering a warm, professional welcome.

The role requires strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Weekend availability and outdoor work are required to support resort operations and guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in guest services, security, gate attendant, or related hospitality role preferred.
• Full availability and ability to work weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests, vendors, and visitors at the welcome gate in a warm, professional, courteous manner.
• Collect and verify guest information to confirm registered status before granting access.
• Provide directions and property navigation guidance upon arrival.
• Control and monitor gate access ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
• Coordinate with dispatch, security, and Guest Experience teams to relay arrival information and concerns.
• Address inquiries and provide information about resort amenities, parking, and check-in procedures.
• Maintain logs of vehicle and visitor traffic per security procedures.
• Remain alert for unusual activity and notify appropriate personnel.
• Keep the welcome gate area clean and aligned with brand standards.
