Kettle Moraine Y M C A Inc is seeking a Welcome Desk Staff in West Bend, WI. The role involves delivering courteous, caring service to members, recruiting and engaging members, and maintaining accurate records at the welcome desk.

Evenings with weekend rotation; full-time position with benefits. Requires strong customer service and multitasking skills; CPR/First Aid preferred. Join a values-driven team at the Y to support youth development and healthy living.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified preferred/required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, multitasking, problem- solving and customer service skills.
• General clerical skills, including computer proficiency, phone operations, and cash handling.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups of people required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Uses active listening skills to provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
• Interviews and/or tours prospective members/ sells memberships.
• Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the YMCA.
• Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
• Registers for membership and/or programs by inputting data in the computer, collecting the proper payment and verifying the accuracy of information on YMCA forms.
• Enters all transactions accurately and completely into the computer system. Balances all end of shifts and reports any discrepancies to the supervisor.
