Qualifications

• Education: Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and ascertain nature of visit.
• Provide directions and conduct tours.
• Answer phones and relay messages or direct calls as needed.
• Provide information about the city, county, state, local restaurants, lodging, attractions, sites, history, parks, recreation facilities, education, quality of life, and other issues.
• Assist in planning for special events, trade shows, conferences, conventions, or workshops.
• Maintain pamphlets, brochures, and maps; refill supplies and remove outdated materials.
