Soul Center YMCA – Beverly, MA is hiring a friendly Member Services Team Member for the Welcome Center. You’ll be the first contact for members and guests, helping them explore programs and memberships while delivering a warm, engaging experience.

The role emphasizes customer service in a fast-paced environment, with shifts Tue/Thu afternoons, on-site, and a pay rate of $16–$18 per hour. YMCA membership perks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for opening/closing shifts; 16+ for all other shifts.
• Availability to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45pm to 6pm.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants both in person and over the phone.
• Welcome members with a friendly, engaging approach that supports member satisfaction and retention.
• Give tours to prospective members and promote YMCA memberships and programs.
• Build meaningful relationships and help members connect to programs that support their goals.
• Assist with membership updates, questions, and general inquiries.
• Address concerns professionally and elevate issues when needed.
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures related to member services.
• Monitor locker rooms as needed and respond to emergencies appropriately.

We are seeking a motivated Member Services Team Member to join our Welcome Center team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for members and guests—creating a positive, welcoming experience while helping individuals and families connect to everything the YMCA has to offer.
