Job summary

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role provides quality services and participates in planning and implementation of individualized student programs.

The position requires collaboration with general education staff, delivery of instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation to meet diverse learner needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Experience in teaching environment preferred (minimum one year).
• Endorsements: LBS1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students, K–12.
