Job summary

STAR CONSTRUCTION, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew in the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. This is an hourly, field-based role with responsibilities including supplying tools, moving equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

The position requires 18+ years old, US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to become certified as a pole climber.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and willingness to perform manual labor.
• Ability to work with heavy equipment and in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel or work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
