Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Crew installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables. This field-based, hourly role involves providing tools and materials, moving equipment, and ensuring proper notifications for construction activities.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ age, and a high school diploma or equivalent. OT, travel, and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
Experience in telecommunications labor is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
Perform work in all weather conditions.
