Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial telecom crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work 18+, and authorization to work in the United States. You will assist with equipment handling, digging, and traffic control while following safety guidelines in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on‑call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
