Job summary

OnTrac, a leading same-day and next-day delivery provider, seeks a Warehouse Hostler / Yard Driver in Romeoville, IL. You will safely position and maneuver trailers at the dock, working with the yard team and Operations Management to keep the logistics flow smooth.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of driving experience with trailers, and the ability to pass screenings. A clean MVR and TSA eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience, preferably with trailers.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.
• Must be 18+, with clean driving record and TSA screening ability.
• Must provide a 5- to 10-year MVR record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment per the Company Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Communicate trailer moves and numbers clearly with operations.
